Instagram Boomerang

Instagram has unveiled Boomerang, an innovative app producing one-second video clips. Boomerang’s video clips are something like photos in motion. Use the front camera of your phone to take a moving pic – the app will piece ten images together and the result will be a mini video playing forward and backward.
Numerous musicians use the short video clips as a promotion tool — Pharrell William is one of them, as an example. Fans cannot be bothered to watch long videos, so Boomerang’s video clips are a good compromise as they can be used by artists to catch their followers’ attention as well as to promote their music across social media.
