Music licensing is the licensed use of copyrighted music. Music licensing is intended to ensure that the owners of copyrights on musical works are compensated for certain uses of their work.
If you want to use a song for any reason, you need a license, and the licensing system is a quite complicated one. Getting permission to use copyright protected music is a potentially difficult and time-consuming process.
To minimize efforts and reduce bureaucratic procedures, you can create “UGC 3rd Party Compilations” licensing other Feiyr users’ tracks.
If you want to create a UGC 3rd Party Compilation, you still need to get permission from the owners of copyrights on the songs you want to use , but that is very easy – a license request is automatically sent to all copyright owners who has to give you their permission to use their song.
How to create a UGC 3rd Party Compilations?
When you are logged into your Feiyr account, you just have to create a new UGC 3rd Party Compilation and then go to “Manage Bundle Tracks”. Here you will see all tracks that have been enabled for UGC 3rd Party Compilations.
After selecting the tracks and releasing your compilation, a license request will be sent to all copyright owners involved. The request has to be approved or denied within 14 days.
After 14 days, you will find the compilation under “Unreleased UGC 3rd Party Compilations”. You have to remove all rejected tracks and then release your compilation. If you want to add new tracks, the compilation will undergo the same process once again.
What about sales and profits?
Profits will be credited to the accounts of all copyrights owners involved.
Go over our music catalogue and dress up your compilation with the tracks of other Feiyr users! Create your UGC 3rd Party Compilation now.
